Single flute insert fly cutter

Fly cutting gives a good surface finish and leaves less obvious tool marks than an end mill. Fly cutting harder metals like stainless steel can be accomplished with the use of carbide tooling. This fly cutter uses an indexable carbide insert to do the cutting. Included is a drawbolt, one carbide insert plus the Torx screw to hold it in the holder and the Torx wrench to attach or remove it. Additional carbide inserts can be purchased as P/N 7622. Designed for use in the Sherline headstock spindle.
